September 16, 2024
From September 15 through October 15, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month, a celebration of the histories and cultures of American citizens with ancestral ties to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Commemorations take place throughout the month to honor our proud Hispanics, including those who have built and defended our nation. The United States military honors the contributions of Hispanic soldiers and veterans and celebrates the diverse and inclusive environment of the U.S. Armed Forces. Observances celebrating rich Hispanic culture include music and film festivals, dance and art expositions, discussions and more.
At Continuum Services, we share in this month of appreciation by honoring the Hispanic team members in our company. One team member gave some thoughtful insight into what the holiday means to him.
