Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month!

From September 15 through October 15, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month, a celebration of the histories and cultures of American citizens with ancestral ties to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Commemorations take place throughout the month to honor our proud Hispanics, including those who have built and defended our nation. The United States military honors the contributions of Hispanic soldiers and veterans and celebrates the diverse and inclusive environment of the U.S. Armed Forces. Observances celebrating rich Hispanic culture include music and film festivals, dance and art expositions, discussions and more.

At Continuum Services, we share in this month of appreciation by honoring the Hispanic team members in our company. One team member gave some thoughtful insight into what the holiday means to him.

Meet Frankie!

Francisco Javier Espinoza, known to his friends as Frankie, is originally from Michoacán, Mexico. A Senior Operations Manager for Continuum, Frankie takes pride in his Hispanic heritage. During National Hispanic Heritage Month, Frankie celebrates with traditional folkloric dances, music and regional cuisine.

Since 2018, his journey in operations management has been inspired by a love for nature and the environment. He values teamwork and a positive work atmosphere, drawing from his cultural roots of humility and honesty. Frankie enjoys sharing his favorite dishes, like birria and tacos, while encouraging other Hispanic professionals to embrace their heritage in both life and work.
