With new construction, and new technologies being developed for water efficiency and plumbing systems, the demand for plumbers will be higher than ever before.
On top of the projected growth of this industry, there will always be a need for plumbers. Whether it’s construction or repairs, plumbers can always find job opportunities.

Unclogging drains and installing faucets is a minimal part of the job. Although the exact responsibilities of a plumber depends on the project, plumbers are primarily responsible for installing and maintaining various types of piping systems. Plumbers know how to work with various plumbing equipment, read blueprints and know what material to use when.
Plumbers often work on many different projects. You can also become specialized in steam fitting, pipelaying and pipefitting. After gaining experience in the field, you can work to become a master plumber.
According to The Simple Dollar, the average trade school costs around $33,000, where an average bachelor’s degree costs around $127, 000. Not to mention, trade schools typically only take two years to complete, where a bachelor’s degree takes four. Other programs, such as an apprenticeship is another option to becoming a plumber, which can give you paid training opportunities.
